Job Description:

Volt is immediately hiring a BCT Tool Tech ( Automotive ) with a top automotive manufacturer in Fountain Valley, CA. Basic Automotive Repair required.

As a BCT Tool Tech you will:

Tear cores down following current process
Clean body plates and brackets
Assemble BCT' using current process
Test BCT calibration using GDS
Perform bearing clearance tester disassembly
Identify possible problems with BCT bodies and brackets; body damage inspections, thread damage inspections, bracket damage inspections
Assemble BCT Gen; install all components onto brackets
Install brackets
Perform GDS testing
Complete worksheet, track reports
Build boxes and prepare labels
Bubble wrap and seal unit
Input tracking information into a spreadsheet

This is a temp role in nature expected to last up to 4 months with a top automotive manufacturer at their corporate headquarters. Pay is $22-30/hr. It will be working 100% onsite at their Fountain Valley facility.



Requirements:



Must have basic Automotive repair experience
Knowledge of Bearing Clearance Tester preferred
Demonstrate parts investigative and technical methods
Mechanical and electrical knowledge required
Experience in disassembly, inspection, cleaning, diagnosing experience preferred
